Well Last Saturday was the UKs Cyber Crop and On Saturday I managed to get my OH to take the boys out for a couple hours so I could get some peace and quiet and a chance to join in with the crop. I sadly only managed to get two of the Classes done due to getting side tracked with their quizes and photo challenges lol But I have saved all the Classes and aiming to get through them over the next few weeks. The theme for the cyber crop was whodunnit so we all had play along as detectives. We even had to interrogate Mystery Guests to find out who they were. And the quizzes were along the lines of detective shows and finding various things in a varity of different online shops which was good fun.
I have to appologise the photos weren't fantastic but here are the two LO's I mangaged to complete -
My take on the "In The Frame" - The Kit was from Art base

And my take on the "Black and Blue" class by AnniB
I intend over the next few weeks to catch up on the 52Q challenge and to complete the rest of the classes from the cybercrop. I have just been very tired recently so my scrapping is lacking.

I decided I needed a real kick up the back side this yr to get my Scrapbooking back on track. So when I came across Emily Falconbridges 52Q Challenge I thought why not it's simple and wont be so time consuming like alot of the other projects I had seen about. You can find the details of the challenge here - http://embers.typepad.com/e/page/2/ but basically each week (on sun/mon) she will post a new question to ask yourself, which can be interpreted in any way and journalled through words and scraps and art on your chosen surface. I chose to use a scolloped circle chipboard album and Papermania's Monochromatic Collection.
Heres what I have done so far:
This is the front cover ( couldn't bear to add the title once I got this far so left it like this)

This is the inside cover - ( it needed to have a title so this is where I decided to put it. Think this page could have turned out better, but I'm not going to beat myself up over it.)

This is the first page Q1 - ( I need to add the Question which is - what do I wish for this year to bring? not sure how I'm going to add this to the page as of yet.)
Page 2 - ( is the answer to Q1 - I’m wishing that this year brings me and my family some luck. I’m hoping our Wedding goes to plan and that I actually have the time to get everything perfect for the big day. And I hope that we manage to find our first family home to buy and be in it before the year is out. )

I had more to add to the answer but it wouldn't fit so I will be making another page to put this bit in - And most all I hope to find the strength from somewhere to be happy with myself and my decisions.

Wow its been a long time and I feel quite bad as I havent really done anything these past few months scrapping wise. I just haven't been able to get motivated and recently packed all my crafting supplies ready for when we finally have a move in date, as were currently in the process of buying a house.

But Recently browsing through blogs I found one that filled me with inspiration - http://rachelleminett.blogspot.com/ . Rachelle has done some fantastic layouts and also does class kits too which can be found here - http://rachelleskitcreations.blogspot.com/ . After seeing the kits - I put together my wish list but unable to afford anything right now what with xmas, buying our first house and planning our wedding, I couldn't resist but to scraplift a LO called Laugh which you can see below -

Here's my take on the layout -

I used buttons for the hinges of my LO instead of brads as they were already packed and I got a bit carried away with the doodling but think it worked out well. The Actual Kit I used to pull of this Scraplift was the NSD kit (National Scrapbook Day) which I bought from Carolinez Craftz. http://www.carolinezcraftz.co.uk/catalog/index.php
I recently Joined an Austrailian Forum called Crafting In Style which can be found here - http://cisters.ning.com/ and today they had a On Christmas Day Class which had instructions on how to make a gift box and a christmas LO. I have saved my instructions but can't wait to have a go as the class looked fab. I will post Piccys when I complete the class, which I hope will be soon.

Ok I haven't got alot to show you all this week, and I haven't been on any of the forums I'm joined to recently, but I do have a good excuse and that is because I have got carried away with organising my wedding, Ok its not till next yr in August, but you can never be to early organising lol. But I'm thinking of shareing my planning with you all by starting a Wedding blog. I will post a link when I have set it up.
First off we have a LO completed useing a template by Chrissy w from the Jaelicious template pack. check out her blog here http://www.chrissywdigital.blogspot.com/The kit i used for papers and embellishements is by Sarah KozulScraps from Sarah Belle http://www.myscrappinevolution.blogspot.com/sarahkozul@hotmail.com the kit was called No Boys, Just Girls freebie kit the photo is of my FIL with my middle son Oscar when he was a baby. I love how this LO turned out and the colours.

this LO was done using a freebie kit called Candyfloss Garden by Mel Hains. I adored her papers and lovely little bugs and flowers. the photo is of Oscar, we were at my mums and he was playing with his eldest brother Todd's Bike. he was fascinated with the bell.

I adore this LO I think for the dark boyish style and it's different style from what usually do. I was so lucky I won this kit and loved using it. The kit is called High Fidelity by Corri Gammon. The photo is of Todd.
