Another Digi Page, This kit was designed by Dawn Inskip and is available to buy from Treasures to Scrap. I love the kit but struggled to put a page together mainly due to no knowing how to change the LO of the photos. Im slowly learning how to use Photoshop Elements 5.0, hope to one day go on a course when my children are older.

I chose 3 photos from xmas 2006 and used one of the snowflake papers and then a snowey overlay. Then the numbers were from Dawn's Klidoscope Digi Kit again can bought at Treasures to Scrap .

This is Second page I said I was going to do to go with the other page with the photo of the single swan. I used the left overs of the same kit to complete this page and amazingly still have bits left. Just need to do some journalling and then it will be complete. Sorry about the photo, the light wasn't great and I only have a cheap camera.

last of all for this post is my attempt to UKs Cyber Crop Home Decor Class put together by Caroline from Bubbly Funk. Sorry about the photos, again the light not great.

All the letters were chipboard and I covered them in different papers which came with the kit. I used some of my own stash to decorate each letter. For the C I used some little Adiesive Stones. For the O's I used some Ribbon which I won on another forum. And for the K I stuck some little plastic flower jewls on and put a brad in the middle of the chipboard flower.

next time I post I should be able to show my entries to the different CJ's I've done. As I'm just completeing the last one.
please leave comments, love to know what peeps think.

This is my second Digital LO.

I'm not sure where I got this kit from. It's a freebie I downloaded a long time ago, as I have been wanting to try digital for a long time so I downloaded loads of freebie bits and it's only now I have found the courage to try Digi out and I'm really enjoying myself putting pages together.

The photo is of my OH with a giant snowball taken last year near Christmas.

Third Digital LO. I used some elements from the Hope & Dreams sentiments pack from www.cottagearts.net/samples.html which was free and some frames and overlays which again I downloaded a while back and can't remember where from sorry.

The photo is of our newest addition to the family Connor. This photo was taken the morning after he was born.

I'm not entirely sure I like this page. I wanted to try giving the page a sewn look and I wanted to try useing Scollop edges.

I made a Scollaped frame and attached it to the page useing brads. I used dark green ink and embossing powder to make the frame and picture stand out.

When I was trying to put the LO together, I couldn't get it to look right. But by accident my eldest son knocked the table and the photo tilted and actually looked better so I attached it to the page like that.

The photo is of my eldest Todd and my OH they were looking at the river at Wilton House.

The page on the left was a class kit over at Carolinez Crafts, put together by Paula Sealey.

I loved the frog paper that came with this kit.

My LO has turned out different from the class but I think it worked out ok.

Only wish the journalling could have been a bit smarter. Must invest in a proper journalling pen.

The Photo is of Todd, he had just fallen over in the sea at Studland Beach and I just got the Photo as he was standing up. He had a fantastic time in the sea.

Another class kit by Paula Sealey. With this kit she made 2 LO's and 2 tags.

I made 2 LO's using one sheet of 12x12 cardstock. This one I used photos of Oscar, my middle child, riding a ride on digger with the help of my mum.

The second LO I used Photos of Todd riding a bike with stabalisers for the first time.

I printed off the tittle and coloured them in using colouring pencils. For the journalling I printed off a journalling box from one of Dawn Inskip.

The last LO for me to share is this one on the right, it is another class put together by Dawn Inskip. And I have still got bits left which I intend to use to put another LO together with Photos of this Swans siglets.

Hello,
Sorry i haven't blogged in a long time, it's been quite hectic here and i haven't managed to do much but do house work and look after my new arrival.
My third son Connor was born on the 08/09/07 at 7.56pm, weight 8lb 4oz, length 51cm.
hope to get some pages done real soon using pictures of him.
well on the left is my first attempt of Digital Scrapping. For this page I used bits from multiple kits put together by the very talented Dawn Inskip, which can be bought from Treasures to Scrap or K-joi Studios.
Hopefully will have more pictures of my work to upload soon, just got to find a file shrinker as my images are to large to download.

21 June 2007

Hi there, I'm quite chuffed with myself as I have managed to complete 3 layouts this week. And two of them have been my own ideas and using kits that can be bought from Carolinez Craftz.

This one to the left I havent got a title for, but I used card, flower stickers and blooms from a Lilac and Turquoise kit from Carolinez CraftZ and some cardstock leftover from a class kit I used a while back.

the writing going round I thought was perfect for the layout. I had a free digi kit I downloaded some time and came across an over lay with these words going round in a circle and as my printer doesnt print on acetate, I thought it would look just as good writen on a half circle straight on to the card and it works.

I loved takeing the Photos of my youngest playing in the park, he was being such a little rascal, unfortunantly we had to leave the park shortly after the photos were taken as he fell off a bench and cut just below his lip and inside the lip. luckily he was ok. I took him to the hospital for them to check it over and it has now healed quite well.

Good Friends Layout on the Right, I managed to get a photo of my eldest son with his best friends. (my best friends son and daughter) so I had to put a layout together. I used some bits from the Salsa kit from Carolinez craftz, 3 papers, 2 brads and a flower slide. Can't remember what font I used for the title but enlarged it and filled the middle pink and printed it off on normal white paper and cut around each letter.

Some times I look at this layout and think there is something missing, but then think that it might be i'm used to putting more on the page.

Safe Layout was a class put together by Laura one of the design team over at Carolinez Craftz. She did two layouts with this one class kit. This is the second LO as I need to find a suiting photo for the first layout.
well my partners hours at work have now changed due to his promotion so I get the evenings to myself once the kids are in bed. So i'm making the most of them by doing scrapbooking.
Its well work checking out Carolinez Craftz and I have to say the kits are well worth getting you get loads in each one to do loads of layouts and the classes posted on the forum are fantastic. Im just a happy customer and scrapper.

Carolinez Craftz Class Layouts

Hi long time since I been on here and posted. The following layouts are ones I've completed useing the class kits that can be bought from Carolinez Craftz. There are classes posted on the forum each saturday by some fantastic designers.

This layout on the left is from a class put together by Dawn one of the fabulous design team.

I chose to put a picture of my best friend Heather in. I was quite worried on how the page would turn out as it was my first attempt at stitching. When I did the frame I did it wrong but I think it still works well in the layout. Haven't added a title yet as I wasnt sure whether to use a Alphabet Die in my Bigshot or to find a font on the computer and print. Still deciding.

The Layout on the right is a class put together by the lovely Caroline who owns the shop and forum.
This is the first time I have used acetate the only changes to her layout I did was - I didnt use the ribbon that was in the kit and I used up the left over cut flowers and leaves I had to put in the corners of the photo. Which left me a sheet of flower patterned 12x12 card to use for another layout.

The Photo is a picture of my sister in law Helen and her daughter Keira. (hope I got spelling right).

Sorry bout the photo, it didnt come out to well.

This layout was from one of the classes for the Cyber Crop we had on the forum.
This class was put together by Maria Horton. I got a bit panicked because I had to cut strips of fabric and thread them through whole punched holes being careful not to rip the paper. But the page came together quite well. And it was also my first time doodling my own flowers.

The photo is of my youngest he had just been eating onion rings which you can't quite see but there is one remaining under his chin in his bib.

This layout was another class from the Cyber Crop and again put together by Maria Horton.
This was interesting to do as I have never used doilies for a layout. I thought the papers in the kit were very easter themed so I decided to change the title to easter 2006 as I had a couple of photos of my 2 boys last easter which I wanted to use.
I have got some more layouts on the way to post on here but they are awaiting for suitable photos. Hopefully I will have them on here really soon.
Thankyou for takeing a look and feel free to leave any comments. Always intregued to here of other peoples thoughts and ideas.

Explosion Box

I made this for my mum for a mothers day present. It was the first time i ever made one and i found the instructions in the Docrafts magazine. i struggled a bit with the measurements as i dont think i read them all right, but it has turned out really well and my mum loved it.
