Here's my latest Wire Sculpture a Sausage dog and doesn't he look cute lol. I have to say I'm finding wire sculpting very addictive, I can't wait till my next lesson on Tuesday just to be able to get some more wire lol. I have a few ideas on what to make next either a bigger model maybe a Raindeer or another model roughly the same sizes as my ones I already made like a cat or elephant. Only have to wait til Tuesday to make up my mind hehehe.

That's it for the moment. I've made my papermache pumpkin and he is now ready for painting just trying to work out the best method for painting. On the Stolloween Site the guy used flat black exterior latex paint, White Latex primer which was dry painted and then diluted Acrylics ( Orange, Yellow and Green) but I think that's going to be rather expensive to get all of the above. I asked on the Ukscrappers forum what people thought and someone suggested painting in Acrylics then once dried paint yacht varnish on and then it should make it weather proof too and cost me less in the long run. Once I have painted him I will post pics. I'm hoping to do it real soon.

There will be quite a few crafting projects to be posted this month as Ukscrappers have got Cyber Crop running on the 13th November to the 15th 09. Its a Wizard of Oz theame and I'm on the Toto Team. I have bought some of the kits and really looking forward to the classes. It's not to late to sign up and you can always use own stash if you can't get hold of the kits.

Hi again, I completed my Wire Sculpture Pig, and again impressed I think he looks cool. Think the beads I used for the eyes could have been bigger but didn't have any to hand.

Someone on Ukscrappers forum posted a link the other day http://www.stolloween.com/ and it's fantastic anyone looking to make some Halloween creations should definantly have a look here. I definantly want to have a go at makeing the pumpkins and hubby likes the look of the skeleton.

I doubt we will have made all the creations we'd like to make ready for this halloween as it's only a week away but think I might try having a go at the pumpkin and see how long it takes.

Long time no post, but finally have some projects too share. I've recently started a free for parents follow on Art Course at our Local Children's Centre and were having a go at making Wire Sculptures. Here's my rat I made and over all I'm really proud of it as this is the first time I've worked with wire. I added beads for his eyes and nose which was rather fiddley, but the hardest part was making the body and getting the wires to stay in place. I have learnt I work better in making larger sculputres than small ones. When I started out I was just trying to get hang of coiling but then it started to look like a tail, and after watching my rats play in the evening after my first class and haveing the coiled tail done I decided to try and create a rat. I think he has charector and looks cool.

Next I have my Wire Butterfly Wind Chime I made. This was really easy to make in comparison to the rat. And was my inital idea to start off with makeing before the rat but at the time I had no Idea where to start and liked how my coiling was going.

I'm Making a Wire pig, but I will post pictures of him when he's Complete.
Next up are my Sons Door Placks I made using Wooden Stars, and different painted wooden animals (which my middle and youngest son chose and my Mum chose my eldests as he wasn't with us), Yellow paint which was all from Hobbycraft and then I sprayed on some glitter to give a little bit of sparkle.

Here is a one off card I made for one of my MIL for her Birthday. I used one of the Daisy and Dandilion Stamps and whispers pens.

And finally on to my Kaisercraft project, ok it's not finnished but as I'm awaiting to have some spare cash to get some cardstock and it may take some time lol I thought I'd Post the so far pictures lol. I've found a Digi Shop online - http://www.littledreamerdesigns.com/ and spotted they have kits which contain templates to make pages for different kaisercraft albums, so you can do them Hybrid. I have bought the Hybrid Magical 13 Skull Album one to go with my album and once I've got my Photoshop Elements back on my laptop I attend to complete it.

Well thats it for this post, But I have a lot of Projects in Store and Projects on the waiting to complete that I'm planning to tackle. I really feel like my creative self again. Think it has something to do with I got to go a Scrapbook crop, first one I've been too in along time. It's called Scrap and Chat based in Yeovil, It's held once a month at Creative Moments in Church Street.

I think I posted a photo of my invites I made on my wedding blog but thought as it was craft related I'd post a photo of them on this blog too :) I can't take the credit for the idea though someone over on Ukscrappers posted a picture and was ok for me to copy. I just changed the colour from red to blue. The cards were made using pearlized cards, royal blue card, two cuttlebug emboss and cut dies Butterflys and a flower one. and to give the cards a bit of bling I used rhinestones. I'm really proud of how they turned out and have had quite a few compliments from guest who have recieved one :)

I wasn't going to post this album till I had completed it, but here it is anyway lol, as it still needs some book rings that fit and some ribbons tied to them to hold the album together and also I wanted to add some pages to it too. But I need to wait til after the wedding and save some pennies. This is my Cake and Recipe Album :) I'm planning to store all our family faves and puds we have tried and want to try.

Well that's it for the mo, over the next two weeks I will be decorating my blank guest book that I bought, Decorating my Blank cd sleeves and making my table plans so once they are complete I will post piccys. I have a Kaisercraft Skull Album which I have started which I'm hoping to get back too after the wedding which is on the 15th August can't believe it's come round so quickly :)

For those of you who are not sure what a one kit call is its where a digi designer puts a call out asking for people to come forward and have a play with a kit the designer has made and make a few LOs to post in several gallerys.

Couple more Digi LOs for you today -
Firstly this one made using the Wonderful Dawn Inskip's Jungle Jungle and the pics are of some Giraffes at Cricket St Thomas. I love this Kit and have so many photos to use which this kit will come in handy for.

My 2nd LO of the day is one using Mommy's Lil' Monster kit by SuzyQ Scraps. The photos are of my fiance Dave and our middle son Oscar haveing a rough and tumble play. Think Dave was getting well puddled lol.

Watch this space as I have bought a few more of SuzyQ's kits as I was lucky enough to win a coupon in a rak over at http://www.digishoptalk.com , a fantastic forum for digi scrappers. :)
I have recently started makeing cards for family and friends birthdays because of this company, their designs are wonderful. I started off with the bears and rabbits as they didnt have the puppys in stock and then decided to order them along with the papers. I made a card using the pups for my mum's birthday and showed her the stamps and she persuaded me to get the elephant set. All of them are so cute. Im now saving for the other stamp sets this company have made.
